After the successful implementation of light installations in the portfolio and knowledge of 3d, I ended up in a company that produces and sells lighting.
Thus began my formation as a subject designer of decorative lighting. I was working and self-taught at the same time. I drew a lot, 2-4 collections of lamps a month. It was a great experience.
Then another similar company. I continued to grow, but not so actively. The realization came to me that there was not enough work on the table for me, it brought me less and less attention. Not involved in production. I really want to work with stock. Test your ideas on your own. To feel how the material itself dictates the direction of the development of the form. Drawing lamps only in 3D, it was impossible for me to get that kind of experience.
Ceramics came into my life just as accidentally as object design. I went to spit to unwind a little on maternity leave. I liked it so much that after that I started a course in ceramics. After shaking the dishes for a while, he finally returned to the lamp. But with a new vision of form, color, light and material, and an emotional impression from the impact of the image.
I artificially limited myself to the possibilities - ceramics, in order to find models with a predominance of reflected light. This is how the first 3 collections appeared: KENI, FLOW and NUN. And with him began the formation of the right brand Polina Artamonova Design.
We continue to actively expand and transport. There are many plans for the new collection ahead! I want to embrace the immensity.
My goal is to create light that fills the house with beauty, comfort and kindness!
