Theia Tiles is a Lisbon-based studio founded in 2017 that creates sculptural, three-dimensional faience and terracotta tiles entirely by hand. Working from the Mambo Factory design hub, its artisans press, fire and glazes, using Portuguese ancestral techniques of Azulejos, including the amazing Craquelet colors. Theia has collaborated with contemporary names like Studiopepe to create richly textured collections such as Milano collection and the sea-inspired Mar Di series. The result is a portfolio of durable, customizable wall-cladding and decorative panels whose subtle tonal variations and bold relief patterns bring tactile character to the modern interior.
