The "Thebes" stool in Bianco Carrara marble is a perfect fusion of past and present.‎
This stool embodies the essence of Italian marble craftsmanship and modern machine carving.‎
Designers McGannon Saad wanted to emphasize the intrinsic qualities of marble as a material, to have it interpreted and worked by Pistore Marmi, renowned for its mastery in working natural stone since the 1960s in the Veneto region of Italy.‎
The monolithic form showcases the pure beauty of each stone's metamorphosis, creating poetic textures and stories.‎
With a curved seat for comfort, it draws inspiration from objects of the archaic period, hence the name Thebes.‎
