If ‘to dare is to momentarily lose balance,’ then the wall hung basin O_O, designed by Bartoli Design for Rexa, dares perfectly. Winner of the BIG SEE Product Design Award 2022 and the German Design Award 2023 in the floor version. The cylinders of the base and the basin, despite having different proportions, combine in absolute formal balance, creating a harmony of shifts and volumes with sculptural relevance that gives life to an object with simple and legible geometric shapes. A meticulously studied geometric composition in which the basin, prominently projecting from the base, exhibits a sort of suspended equilibrium.
