Badari’s history started in Florence in 1956, when the founder Marcello Badari took up the business of repairing brass light fixtures.Shortly before the great economic boom affecting Italy after WWII,
Badari realized times were changing and new work opportunities were arising.
Thus, he started running a new business, specialized in artistic chandeliers production and reproduction
This soon gained plenty of clients, especially among the Americans, attracted by everything that was “Made in Italy”.

This collection represents the Badari’s soul, who since 1956 and for three generations has developed a formidable mastery in metalworking to create chandeliers, furniture and accessories that respect the splendid and rigorous French style Louis XV, Louis XVI, Empire and Versailles at the which our designers have always been inspired by.
Origins
Originally Badari's collections focused exclusively on artistic Lighting, proposing chandeliers and wall lamps comparable to the originals of the past and updating them with their own secret finishes developed internally, including the famous burnishing with patina that recalled the crystals soiled by the mud that Badari laboratories during the 1966 Florence flood.
Evolution
As part of a process of constant evolution, in 2018 we broaded our range of products by presenting Life.
Contemporary, with nature-inspired traits, Life Collection is characterized by clean and sinuous lines, emphasizing the inner elegance of the handmade products with the highest attention in material research to mantain our extra Luxury quality standard.
