Touching the wooden texture made of Oak evokes the precious fabric born in China, produced with a raw silk that is irregular, raw but tidy at the same time.
The “Oak Shantung” wooden fabric is created with Tabu Oak wood; a highly sustainable species grown in North America and Europe. Thin dyed Oak sheets are assembled in a new block from which multilaminar sheets are obtained with successive cuts, an example of thrifty use of the noble raw material.
